Back in the 70s and 80s I was raised on the west side in this mostly rural but somewhat metropolitan city known as Jacksonville FL. In 1985 I resigned from a local metal fabrication plant that is still in existence today and went straight to a Navy recruiting office. After two years of training and schools I found myself maintaining and operating the most advanced weapons systems available at the time on a nuclear powered guided missile cruiser. I traveled the world, fought in a war and served honorably. In 1991 after electing to give it a go in the civilian world I landed in Commercial Real Estate. I held responsibilities from Assistant Property Manager to Vice President and lived and worked in many large and some smaller cities throughout the country. Most recently I returned to Jacksonville and a few weeks ago I was presented an opportunity from CBRE to manage the tallest and largest building in downtown. I spent 26 years dedicated to the CRE industry and six of those were with CBRE in south Florida. Now I am pleased and proud to announce I will be leading the team on this amazing asset. I am not only going back to a great company with great people but my career has come full circle. It is surreal to think after all that I’ve experienced this would be the last CRE ride. What a way to end it. Thank you to CBRE and GroupRMC for this amazing opportunity. I can’t wait to get started on this beauty of an asset in my hometown.
