William (Bill) Davis has over 20 years of experience in the Telecom industry ranging from technical service solutions, to non-profit member acquisition, and fundraising services. Bill began his IT career with Iomega in 1999 and has since become an integral technical piece of several startup companies.Bill currently fills the role of Director of IT Engineering at ACD Direct, where he was a founding member of the business team. In his early years, he directed the development of the initial startup applications, all network, firewall, and server configurations, and has completed PCI Level 1 Certification. With over 17 years at ACD Direct, Bill now focuses on managing all day-to-day activities of 1200 home-based agents, 1 million talk minutes per month, and millions of dollars in software development for the busy contact solutions center. His client success includes work with St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, ASPCA, and PBS stations throughout the United States.In 2012 Bill’s passion for technology led him to co-found Optibase LLC., a crypto mining, and consulting company. Bill created and still owns a mining operation and is actively involved in trading currencies and the buying/selling of hardware. Bill’s enthusiasm for life and technology is shared by his loving wife of 21 years and two children. He is an active volunteer at his children's school, serving on the board of directors at Ogden Preparatory Academy, and has led learning expeditions to the northwestern United States and southern Utah.
