I learned firsthand at the age of 5 what can happen when you don’t properly plan for your family’s financial future. My father passed away at age 38 from pancreatic cancer with no life insurance to secure our family’s future. As the sole income provider, his loss was both emotionally and financially devastating for our family. Today, as an Agent Intern with State Farm, my top priority is to deliver perspective and clarity on my clients' overall financial situations. I strive to provide clear guidance on how to achieve the lifestyle they desire for their families given their goals, risk tolerance and time horizon. Most importantly, I help them prepare for what can go wrong in order to maintain their ability to invest for what can go right. I take the time needed to get to know my clients in order to tailor strategies specific to their overall unique financial situation. I began my career in financial services in 2009 following 20 years of distinguished service to my country in the Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. I completed three carrier deployments and flew over 40 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. My time in the military fostered a keen adherence to the ideals of integrity, commitment, and dedication to excellence; ideals that are at the heart of my business philosophy today.I earned a degree in Economics from Penn State, a Master’s degree from the Naval War College, as well as a Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. While in the Navy, I taught at the Air Force Academy for three years as an Adjunct Professor of Management, facilitating a course in personal finance to over 150 cadets.My bride of more than 31 years, Tracey, and I have three boys, Will, Tyler, and Cody, and reside in Venetia, PA.I am passionate about serving others and partnering with them through life’s journey.
