When you hear the word Rodeo what do you think about? When I hear the Rodeo my mind opens up to many different subjects and the ball starts rolling. There are 4 major things that have to come together for any rodeo to be successful: God, Country, Family and Community.God: All honor and glory go to God for what we have. Talents to do our job or compete in the events we compete in.Country: We live in a Country that is full of possibilities and freedoms. We honor our Country and the men and women that protect us. Family: Our families are who we are. We create every event to be family friendly and filled entertainment for the whole family.Community: We have events to entertain our communities and in most cases to give back to the community in some way.In 30 plus years of rodeo there is not much I have not seen or done. I started out on an arena crew setting up portable arenas (still do if needed) to running the everyday operations and production of the largest rodeo in the state of Tennessee. Through Western Events, LLC we have started 4 rodeo from the ground up. I have also had the honor and privilege to work with some of the biggest names in the business. In 33 years of the fire service and the last 10 as a Lieutenant, I learned the key to being in charge of a fire scene or a car incident is to keep calm no matter how out of control it might be. Most times you are the only one that knows it was not going exactly as planned. This carries over to today as we produce events or a rodeo in your home town.
