Directed staff in compiling, producing and circulation community newspaper.

Served as hands-on publisher of community newspaper with primary duties of editing, writing, photography, advertising sales and design, page make-up, and various business duties.

Initially hired as publications coordinator and was primarily responsible for theproduction of a weekly newsletter and monthly magazine. Was promoted to manager of publications and then to manager of organizational communications in which I directed a staff of three employees and several outside consultants in the production of a variety of employee communications, media relations and marketing communications pieces for the company. Work produced included magazines, brochures, advertisements, news releases, slide shows, quarterly television production, employee publications and financial publications.
