Went to Manor High School-graduated and went straight to work in the family business in 1978, in 2012 I became owner and ran Austin Vacuum until we closed our doors after 64 years ,In Feb. 2014 I was diagnosed with colon cancer, in march I underwent the surgery and some chemo. due to this I wasn't able to put the amount of time and effort into the business and was unable to save it, closed it's doors sept 31st 2014. a sad day in my life, but a new beginning- I was alive. November 3rd 2014 I went on the first job interview in 45 years of working, and was able to land a job with Eugene Kim of Kim paper co. doing the same type work I have always done. I couldn't be happier to be with this company the owner has the same values that I have and we get along great. even though he's 25 years younger than me.I hope to be with them growing their business as if it were mine, for a long time ( with out all the pressure of owning your own business ) I guess I'm eating my own cake too , Hahaha
