Responsible for District performance to achieve sales goals, customer experience metrics and operational excellence.

Led District Initiative to improve Customer Experience Scores resulting in 7-12% increases in the twenty measured categories for the District. Developed Leaders through experiential and operational real time coaching. Managed day-to-day operations including P & L and payroll responsibilities. Developed and implemented strategies to improve sales in under performing areas, control store expenses and reduce shrink.

Dfw Area

Multi-unit location manager - hands on leadership development of managers, drove sales performance, trained and inspected merchandise presentation, and audit all operational concerns for consistent compliance.

Execute new leadership strategies for 11 District stores designed to transform customer experience, increase revenues, improve profitability, reduce expenses and inspire a more engaged team of associates. Results: Increased customer first scores 8%, improved close rate by 5% and revenue by 6%, reduced expenses by 12%, and improved associate morale.Completed grand opening for Circuit City Garland location as Operations Manager. Promoted to Store Director and exceeded budget for 8 of 10 months – range from 111% – 135% to budget. Exceeded annual net operating profit for location by 18%. Scored 4th highest in Region and #1 in District for Kenexa employee engagement surveys for 2006.

Provided effective training and career development for over 250 employees. Included initial training, advanced training, and follow up training on an individual basis and to classes of up to 245 employees. Results: Hertz - promoted 62 employees to Assistant Branch Managers, 41 to Branch Manager, 3 to District Manager, 3 to City Manager, 1 to Area Revenue Manager and 1 to District Sales Manager. Circuit City – promoted 3 associates to Sales Manager, 2 to Operations Managers, 1 to Store Director. Conducted Leadership Development Workshop for District.Implemented strategies to increase penetration of target markets and increase profitability of existing accounts. Collaborated with other District Sales Managers, District Managers, and Branch Managers to ensure training and success of sales activities. Results: Successfully negotiated several contracts with key accounts each generating in excess of $1 million in annual revenues. Doubled fleet size from 1500 to 3000 units.
