Operations Chair 2007 - 2011. Built small team and program managed development and continued enhancement of a new WordPress-based website. This included a Past Conferences area containing all conference papers for the last 30 years - a valuable information reference system for the public in the area of Software Quality. Brought in and set up SharePoint to enable the 50-person organization to self-manage, and numerous other IT management including security, backup, SEO, community forum, and video-recording of conference presentations. Setup an annual timeline of activities across all functional areas to run the organization's yearly activities and establish a base for continuous improvement. Led adoption of the practice of storing key documents such as newsletters, plans, strategic planning and various initiatives to serve as a reference for future work.Board Member 2008 - 2012, including VP (2009) and President (2010 & 2011). Inherited a very well-respected conference and organization. Did numerous activities to lead this volunteer-based organization, and also learned a lot! Established numerous partnerships and collaborations.Marketing Chair 2012. Identified major areas of work needed, key roles and responsibilities, and built a team to manage the large amount of marketing effort needed for PNSQC. This changed marketing from the single-person effort of the past to a team-led effort. Co-led major efforts to use social media.
