Jaxon is an AI Training Platform that autonomously labels raw data for custom, domain-specific deep learning models, supported by techniques such as weak supervision, transfer learning, and unsupervised data augmentation. Jaxon helps data science teams deploy models faster, alleviating the bottleneck of manually labeling data. With Jaxon, orders of magnitude less human-labeled examples are needed to create quality training sets.

Multi-hatted special assignment to 1) help with transition and mentoring of a permanent vice president for the mission area; 2) perform role of Business Area Executive while a search for a permanent senior director was made; 3) work with product line areas to execute growth strategies from previously developed five year plan, and 4) leverage significant external government and industry relationships for growth and for better program execution on a few key programs facing performance challenges. Intent was originally for full transition to complete by end of 2018 when I intended to retire from Raytheon but length was extended due to several variables.

Vice President responsible for P&L, day to day operations and business execution and business growth for Raytheon's $1B communications mission area focused on strategic satellite communications, nuclear command, control & communications, tactical radios, secure networking, protected communications, assured processing and crypto. Product line areas in span of control included Marlboro, Massachusetts; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Largo, Florida; Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; El Segundo, California; Raleigh, North Carolina and Fullerton, California. Role included significant external senior DoD level interaction as well as UK Ministry of Defence. Responsible for developing a five year plan that has been used to successfully drive growth for this business area for the last several years. Plan included the formation of key strategic teaming relationships within the US and also leveraging Raytheon international presence specifically in the UK. During my time in this role, I was faced with several key changes of personnel through both retirement and performance. I used my very strong diverse team building skills to both unify and add to the leadership team in order to make transitions seamless. Solicited input from all levels of the organization.
