• Continued work from prior Career Experience, working specifically within the (then) newly formed Materials group.
• Test experimental materials - metals, plastics, coatings and finishes - in a variety of physical scenarios, with a focus on corrosion and wear in immersion/environmental scenarios.
• Create, optimize, and/or revise test processes and methodologies.

• Applied and was selected for another short-term assignment, this time with the Reliability Test Engineering team. This was the first Career Experience offered by this department, and was used to model the experience.
• Supporting reliability test engineers with product testing and feedback
• Be an acting liaison between Retail and Corporate, providing feedback and insight going both ways.
• Provide expertise cultivated from working in the field to enhance existing test models, processes, and observed failure modes.
• Wrote software where possible to help automate and better track test results.

• Provide world class, industry leading, and award winning* customer service. This role encompasses customer service and computer repair with some sales.
• Was a trusted resource for tough customer interactions, deep-dive hardware repairs, and deep-dive software troubleshooting. Side projects:
• Managed open directory servers for Pasadena/Escondido/Temecula, including initial setup or upgrades as appropriate.
• Developed OS X Server based software restore solution - Cut software restore times on new hard drive installations down by as much as 75% while working at Pasadena and Escondido stores, 2 years ahead of formal.
• Using base script provided by the 5th Avenue location, further developed and optimized a BASH scripted drive imaging solution for diagnostic and triage external hard drives.
• Enabled partitioning in excess of Disk Utility GUI constraints (15 or greater depending on the drive type) to simplify drive mix and reduce imaging man-hours. Documented solution and trained employees.

• Selected to participate in a short term assignment with the Field Diagnostics and Enginnering team.
• Performed QA and assisted in designing next generation diagnostic tools to be used by field service representatives (Retail Stores, Apple Authorized Service Providers, external Apple repair centers, and call centers).
• Helped to QA Apple Diagnostics, first included on the MacBook Air (Mid-2013).
• Assisted with the design and QA of related specialized software diagnostic tools for portable systems
