From an early age, I knew I wanted to be an accountant. I first learned about a career in the accounting profession from the carpool to hockey practice as a teenager. I knew this would be the career for me because I was always up for a challenge. Hearing about the tough college courses and the grind of studying for the CPA exam never steered me away from my goal. Fast forward 15 years later and my passion for working in this profession grows each day. I enjoy helping clients solve problems and achieve success in their businesses. I help clients by: •Developing a roadmap for growth that provides options for expansion, opportunities for investments, and mitigation strategies for risk.•Establishing a proactive tax plan that works for them all year, not just on April 15. •Serving as an interim CFO for an accounting department when their business is going through a transition or restructuring event. •Uncovering hidden financial opportunities by improving their processes, valuing their business for investors, or uncovering hidden grant opportunities in their industry. •Researching the latest in tax and accounting compliance and legislation to ensure their plans are still actively working on their behalf. •Building relationships that can transcend life’s challenges while offering a positive outlook. My clients always come first, and I am willing to gain the knowledge and experience I need to provide the best solutions no matter the type of business or industry. Whether their needs are in tax, audit, review, compilation, or business advisory, I work hard to ensure I’m providing the best possible service with the best attitude. My spare time is spent with my wife and daughter, getting outside whenever we can. I play a ton of golf, but my first true love is hockey. I still actively play in our local men’s hockey league. I also enjoy exploring Vermont’s craft beer scene.
