Strategic planning and opportunity evaluation for the extension of Kingston Midstream's (formerly Tundra Energy Marketing Ltd.) Saskatchewan service area and operations with a focus on Western Canada and North Dakota. - Assessment of Canadian Energy Regulator / Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulated pipeline systems to maximize value from cross-border crude oil marketing and blending. Negotiations with US midstreamers to integrate with Kingston's system. - Led the multi-function internal team and investment bankers for the comprehensive evaluation process of a $500M midstream infrastructure acquisition. Accountable for technical, subsurface, commercial and consultant assessments. - Built an area production forecasting model. The company did not have this type of tool prior which greatly aided the budgeting and planning process for volumes and revenue. - Performed ranking of current and emerging midstream opportunities focused on SK, AB and ND to prioritize future investment focus.

Repsol acquired Talisman Energy in May 2015.Business Development representative and leadership for the Repsol Canadian portfolio.- Strategic analysis of opportunities with the objective to transition to a higher value asset base. Initiation, approvals and execution of of acquisition, swap and disposition opportunities.- Successfully identified, negotiated and completed acquiring a joint venture $50M investment in an emerging Montney opportunity which became the best performing asset in the Canadian portfolio. The asset had an ~60% uplift in book value upon closing and more than doubled again within a year.- Development of a joint venture strategy and offering processes for a world-class unconventional asset. - Led the preparation of data rooms and management presentations for divestments.- BD subject matter expert for support to Legal for litigation dispute resolutions and contract negotiations.

Coordination of business development opportunities; assessment of Canadian conventional and unconventional assets; execution of dispositions, swaps.- Core member of Talisman’s team leading multi-billion investment into the EagleFord unconventional play. Long term planning (5-25 yrs) for a North American Portfolio.- Evaluated the North American conventional asset portfolio to identify those assets appropriate to dispose/retain. Divestments were executed in the timeline of 2009-12 for proceeds of approx. $2B.- Built a Monte Carlo risk-based development planning software model which was able to analyze major price and results-driven development scenarios in hours vs. multi-discipline teams requiring days.- Guidance for budget planning and Investor Relations materials for the +3 year strategic plan.

Management of a critical sour gas midstream asset area which had the largest capital program and growth in the business unit. - Responsible for strategic planning, operations, budgeting, capital programs, project management, performance tracking, and JV agreements.- Coordinated regulatory approval for a bi-directional AB-BC cross border gathering system, the first approval of this type for the BC OGC.

Responsible for the infrastructure development engineering of a WCSB Unconventional Gas greenfield program.- Support for the exploration and land acquisition programs. - Overall long-term infrastructure planning and near-term project management of expected investment in the range of $0.7-1B.- Ensuring development plans aligned with corporate safety, environment and sustainability objectives with a specific focus on wildlife as the asset was within caribou protection plan areas. - Infrastructure technical expert for Peer Reviews, Quality Assurance, Quality Control audits.

Interface between Shell Canada and an Engineering / Construction alliance. - Definition of project plans, safety management, risk assessment, ensuring public and JV partner commitments were met.- Tracking of project critical factors primarily for the high sour Foothills assets and Peace River Oilsands unit. Projects ranged in value from $5-600M.- Involved with a research project for oilsands In-situ Upgrading Process (IUP) that was later proposed for the Grosmont development. - Regulatory process and project management for a private electrical distribution network.

Project management and engineering for midstream assets in Alberta and British Columbia. - Evolution of acid gas disposal (H2S and CO2 capture and underground sequestration) technologies and effective application now being implemented with CCUS.- Development of greenfield infrastructure and major expansions at existing sour processing infrastructure and deep cut ethane extraction plants. - Resolution of operational and noise issues at the Cochrane Expansion Plant after a major facility upgrade and conversion to gas turbine compression.

- Design and project management of public and private NGV / CNG refuelling infrastructure and interface with the regulator to set safety standards for the industry in Alberta.- Responsibilities in planning, design, project management and operations engineering for sour and sweet infrastructure including gas processing facilities and salt cavern storage.
