I am a former procurement and supply chain professional, having worked in purchasing and supply throughout my career, in the construction and utilities industries. I am also a former Chartered Construction Manager, a Practitioner Member (Rtd) of the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment and a Member (Rtd) of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, blending procurement knowledge and expertise across the construction and utilities industries. I have extensive experience in the building, civil engineering, power, water and rail sectors. Furthermore, I have experience of both the client’s side of industry, via Southern Water and United Utilities, as a Supply Chain Manager; and on the contractor's side of industry, via major ‘blue chip’ contractors, as a Procurement Manager, on a wide range of projects, both in the United Kingdom and overseas.
