AMERICAN RELIEF ORGANIZATIONGot Your Back San Diego is a weekend food assistance program for children attending San Diego County Schools who have been identified as homeless or food-insecure, that is – kids who don't know where their next meal will come from. The Got Your Back San Diego program was developed by the American Relief Organization (ARO), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed in 2010. The project began with 22 children at 1 North County elementary school. Now in our third year, GYBSD provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner every Saturday and Sunday to over 150 children in 10 different schools.
