Principle Consultant at BBI Quality Systems since 1987. I specialize in solving welding problems which includes welding engineering, writing welding programs and certified welding inspection. I also write quality management systems to meet industry standards, perform training, write training materials and audit welding programs and quality management systems for conformance to industry standards. To name a few, I have worked for API, General Motors, Trinity Industries, the United States Navy, Det norske Veritas, several ISO and Automotive QMS Registrars and several world wide training organizations.

Writing and implementing the Corporate Welding Manual and Corporate welding procedures, support for all field offices and sites (7 states), failure analyis with proposed corrective action, reviewing suppliers welding procedures, research regarding new welding consumables and equipment and supplier evaluation. Other activities performed as necessary. During my tenure at Access Midstream I continued to be the Principal Consultant for BBI Quality Systems, although during that timeframe, I was not actively operating BBI Quality Systems.

Was in charge of the Det Norske Veritas (DnV) welding program for the America's. Wrote the welding procedure review and approval program for all customers seeking Certification of their welding procedures by Det norske Veritas (DnV). Was in charge of review and DnV Certification of all welding procedures utilized by oil and gas equipment suppliers seeking a "Certificate of Conformity" or a "Certificate of Fitness" for equipment to be installed on platforms in the North Sea. Was also in charge of all field welding inspection conducted by the DnV Surveyors working in the field.
