Never have I been through such a tragic and wide spread event. Neighborhoods for miles along the south shore of Long Island were destroyed as a 14 foot wall of water came ashore and filled hundreds of homes with the Altantic ocean. Many homes were total lossses. Others like myself survived, but were left with major repairs and huge losses, financial and personal. This where having a contractor like Bill is essential. When such a massive event occurs, have a true professional is critical. Bill Mitchell and his team are true professionals. Whether is was dealing with FEMA or dealing with estimaters, Bill was there as an advocate and leader fighting for his clients rights and needs. I truly feel for those whose homes were handled by lesser contractors. There was just so much wrong in every home. Adjusters were sent by insurance companies who, well were not always there for the clients needs. This is were Bill's experience was golden. He fought for every penny. He knew where adjusters and insurance companies cut corners. Most of all he knows how major renovations affect those who are living through lenghty repairs, and what people go through as time passes living in half a home for so long. I cannot stress enough, using a contractor of lesser experience or one with a team of lesser quality is to your detriment. Anybody can say they are the best. But it's more important what thier customers say about them. I'm Bill's customer. He is the best. Period."
