A family business, James Lett Company was America's OLDEST retail photographic supply house, being founded in 1860. My Grandfather W.J. Morrow, purchased the company from the Lett Estate in 1921. My uncle Dixon and father Robert took the reigns after WWII. In 1976 after graduating from college I entered the business full time, becoming President in 1992. Unfortunately, due to the economic climate of the small business in relation to the Box Stores it was necessary to close shop in 2005, after 145 years of continuous business.

This comprehensive training program ensures sales associates are competent to handle practical situations – like analyzing photographs, processing and equipment use. This including reviewing the program and rewriting the entire examination process for all new prospective candidates.
