I have extensive experience at both the corporate and property levels, which ranges from branding and launching of new hotels, to the ongoing operations of multiple properties.My seven years (2001-2008) with Waterford Hotel Group (WHG) have been devoted to managing privately held assets. During my tenure, WHG increased its holdings and reorganized its senior staff positions several times, all of which provided me with varying opportunities to meet organizational needs. Most recently I held the position of Regional Director of Operations and General Manager of the AAA Four Diamond Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa. During my eleven years (1990-2001) with Outrigger Lodging Services as the Executive Vice President of Operations, the savings and loan crisis emerged. Employing our unique marketing strategies and financial expertise, we were very successful at reorganizing and repositioning troubled hotel assets for subsequent sale. Our client list included the Resolution Trust Corporation, major banks, state court receivers, bankruptcy trustees, real estate advisors, private investors and Native American Indian tribes.My hotel experience is broad, including managing boutique, branded and independent full service, and select service hotels. I also have executive experience with The Sheraton Corporation and Princess Cruises Resorts and Hotels.I am a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.Specialties: My experiences include union negotiations, pro associate programs, developing and implementing marketing and public relations programs and reorganizing hotels to maximize profit potentials.
