A Financial professional with over 30 years of trading experience in various capacities across multiple products and models. The majority of time was spent in Emerging Markets fixed Income managing a risk trading book at various Investment companies. My responsibilities included corporate and Sovereign debt in Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe. The products were denominated in multiple currencies, including U.S Dollars, Euro’s as well as local currencies. During my career I was able to navigate various crisis including Mexico’s Peso devaluation in 1994, Russia’s debt crisis in 1998 and the 2008 debt crisis among others. My particular focus has always been distressed debt in which I interacted with both Emerging Market and U.S. High Yield accounts and salesforces. I have worked in both risk and non-risk trading firms as a trader and manager. I helped build profitable businesses in both models as well as training and recruiting of talent. Since moving on from Emerging Markets in 2019 I have been working within a family office structure trading and developing a mean reversion strategy employing equities, futures and options.
