Currently studying at Southern Utah University

As the Program Director at Oxbow Academy, I had the opportunity to work with at risk youth. Each young man had his own story and challenges. My job as a director was to oversee the day to day operations of the social living aspect of the program. While at the same time involving and participating with many other highly trained professionals, such as therapists, psychologists, parents, teachers, and other directors of different aspects of the program. Not only was I highly involved with the students at Oxbow. I was part of a treatment team that collaborated and worked together on a daily basis. I was also responsible for all staff members that worked for Oxbow Academy. I took part in training and preparing all of our employees for the experience they were going to have working with the population at Oxbow. I had the opportunity to work and grow with a great team at Oxbow and feel very grateful for the lessons I learned while I was a part of their company. I grew a lot as an individual both personally and professionally.
