This has included numerous single family custom homes which have been built throughout the United States, alternatives to single family such as patio homes, townhomes, apartment communities and retirement communities. I have also designed several office buildings and a number of mixed use communities which have combined housing, retail, hotel and office projects into integrated walkable places for residents to live, work, shop and be entertained. My primary goal has been to participate in the creation of active and intimate settings which encourage social interaction among the residents of these communities. It has been my great pleasure to have the opportunity to establish longstanding relationships with developers who have returned to the Firm for multiple projects over periods that span decades and often multiple generations of ownership. I believe a key factor has been a strong dedication to staying abreast of demographic and social trends and melding that understanding with a keen sense of the important economic factors that make projects financially successful for their developer sponsors.
