CurrentResponsible for the development of laser, resistance and friction welding techniques and processes adhering to AWS, Six Sigma, quality and Lean Manufacturing standards. These duties included defining test plans and DOE to determine process inputs and outputs and reliability analysis. Primary functions were assisting in the development of Sterling Engine with the ability to withstand thermal and mechanical stresses for a 25 year lifetime. Worked as part of a highly trained and experienced team to develop a cost effective, marketable and highly efficient Stirling Generator to use both renewable energy and alternative fuel sources.Document testing and write Technical Reports based on the guidelines outlined in ASTM, AWS documents and corporate standards.Responsible for the design of electrical controls and electrical distribution of generator systems including power interface systems conforming to UL, CSA and CE standards.
