I create communication plans and new tactics, brand messaging, media relation outreach topics, consumer communication vehicles and public events for client communities.

Addressed crisis situations and regulatory issues that threatened the company’s reputation or financial success.U.S. Cellular (national cell phone service provider, Chicago, Ill.): Teamed with national and local company officials to develop media opportunities and respond to company issues, both in the Nebraska/Iowa market and for use across the country during a four-year engagement. Black & Veatch (international energy, water, communications engineering firm, Overland Park, Kan.): Developed and directed communication strategies for newly formed Enterprise Management Solutions division during a two-year relationship. Established a communication plan to educate division employees, company employees, government entities and public utilities on the division’s services and expertise.
