I advise clients on the resolution of disputes arising out of major infrastructure projects. While my primary focus is international arbitration, I also have extensive experience in litigation, expert determination, adjudication and alternative dispute resolution, and regularly advise clients on the restructuring of distressed projects. I also sit as an arbitrator.I have been involved with major projects across a number of sectors and industries including road and rail transport, airports, commercial, retail, hospitality, tourism, sport, energy, natural resources, defence, health, petrochemicals, process engineering, IT and telecommunications. My work has required me to advise in different jurisdictions including Australia, UK, mainland Europe, the Caribbean, the UAE and other countries in the MENA region.I am qualified to practice as a lawyer in Dubai (UAE), Australia (NSW) and England and Wales, and hold Part II registration with the DIFC Courts. Prior to coming to the law, I studied and practised architecture, interior design and project management in Australia and Hong Kong.
