Beginning my new position as the Sports Embedded Editor, reading, editing and budgeting the sports section for The Patriot-News (Harrisburg, Pa) working with a great team of reporters, editors and designers to put out one of the state's newspapers in Pennsylvania.Previously worked as the sports designer in the newsroom of the Bucks County Courier Times. producing the sports section covers, graphics and display pages for the Courier Times, The Doylestown Intelligencer and the Burlington County Times. As the print media has changed, so have my career goals. I've been aggressively learning about social media in relation to communications, marketing and audience growth. I enjoy working in sports because I love to tell the stories of these athletes, especially at the high school and collegiate levels. Those scholastic and collegiate athletes are students, excelling in their sport, while also working hard in the classroom and being positive role models in their community.
