Represent numerous lenders and borrowers in commercial finance matters, including drafting and negotiating loan and loan sale agreements, construction loans, security documents, promissory notes, loan workout agreements, short sale agreements, forbearance agreements and various other commercial finance documents. Represent private and public clients in a broad variety of telecommunications and information technology matters. Represent clients in the formation, purchase or sale of a broad range of businesses, including: real estate development, lending, manufacturing, packaging, grocery stores, medical practices, skin care, medical supply, waste disposal, motor vehicle sales and rentals, pest control, printing, restaurant, food storage, website design, internet games, water company, health club, dental, engineering, construction, and other types of businesses.

Extensive water law practice, included representing clients in drafting and negotiating water service and effluent service agreements, meeting Groundwater Code requirements, acquiring water rights in conjunction with property development, among many other types of water rights matters. Substantial appellate practice on a variety of civil matters.

Civil practice included natural resources, municipal, real estate, environmental, and other commercial matters. Successfully briefed and argued major water law issues before the Arizona Supreme Court in the Gila River General Water Rights Adjudication. Represented real estate company and its brokers on variety of real estate issues, including commercial and residential leasing, broker liability, real estate contracting and other real estate matters. Extensive litigation practice included contract disputes, real estate, water law, banking law, trusts, construction law, products liability, wrongful discharge and various commercial matters. Successfully represented clients on zoning matters in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Apache Junction and Mohave County. Represented clients on legislative matters and before various governmental agencies.

Represented individuals and entities on general business and real estate matters, including business formation, contracts and other general corporate matters. Successfully litigated condemnation, commercial, contractual, governmental, antitrust and environmental lawsuits. Lead attorney in complex litigation including representing the valley cities in federal and state lawsuits challenging the effluent agreement between these cities and the utilities that own the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. Substantial appellate practice, including the briefing and presentation of matters before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Arizona Supreme Court and Arizona Court of Appeals. Extensive experience representing clients before and working with state and local governments.
