Bill Davis is a Program Chair | Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona Global Campus. Bill is a former Executive, Program Chair and Faculty Senator. He currently serves on the Board of Regents at the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) is the largest management certifying body in the United States doing business globally. Bill is a Board Member at the Association of Distance Education and Independent Learning (ADEIL). Bill holds a MA in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University and a BA in Business Administration from Lewis University. Professional Certifications include a CM from ICPM, C.Mgr (C.Mgr is a prestigious internationally recognized designation in management and leadership). a CDM from the e-Marketing Association, and a CCST International Certification from the JMT (John Maxwell Team) and PepsiCo’s COACH Sales Management System. He has completed 3 Dale Carnegie courses (Human Relations and Effective Speaking, Leadership for Managers and Professional Sales), and completed courses at the University of Chicago, Ashford University, and PCMI (PepsiCo’s Management Institute). A former Executive with extensive experience in all aspects of business: consultant, management, leadership, sales, marketing, strategic planning, human resources, organizational change, and adult learning. Bill uses that experience in the course of instruction to help students explore and gain new ideas, theories, and concepts. He has over three decades of management experience in the 7-UP and Pepsi-Co systems. Academic experience includes Program Chair, Assistant Professor, Lead Faculty and Instructional Specialist. Manager. Bill has successfully taught over 200+ undergraduate / graduate courses. He received the prestigious CAP Excellence in Teaching National Award and was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Adult Learning Honor Society (2008). He has received numerous excellence in teaching, service and leadership awards. In 2016, Bill was awarded the FSBT and AU President's Award for Distinguished Service. In 2017, he received the FSBT Excellence in Teaching Award, and in 2018, the FSBT Excellence in Scholarship Award. He has served as President of the Rock Island Optimist Club, Lt Governor for the Illinois Optimists and United Way Board Member. Bill has written and published over 100+ articles on a variety of business, management, marketing and leadership topics. He has presented at conferences, Fortune 500 companies and has coauthored and published a book titled, "Stay Engaged..It's Essential."
