Vice President of Print Services at Phototype – a 97-year-old, 4th generation family-owned business. We’re a strategic, creative, and production powerhouse that provides fully integrated graphic solutions to the consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, printing and converting industries. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Phototype maintains numerous client dedicated service centers in the U.S. and operates a number of world-class production facilities, both domestically and internationally. I joined Phototype in 1996 and am currently responsible for our Polymer Imaging Division and in-field print consulting services. I started our Flexo Division from the ground up, leading it through continuous improvements and new product development, resulting in improved color separations, higher print quality, and production efficiencies that have been welcomed by both printers and brand owners alike. My 30-year career spans process and project engineering for printing and extrusion operations, as well as flexible retort packaging and ink development. I graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and am also certified in Statistical Process Control and Deming Quality systems. I’m an active member of the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) and participated on the Polymer Imaging subcommittee of the DuPont Tradeshop Council.
