The innovation allows calcium, lithium and other gas adsorbent materials to be polymerized and shaped into a solid structure that is more resilient than granular designs.Working with manufacturing to create standard costs for each product that will lead to a clear measure of yield loss and steps from which we have created measurable cost reduction initiatives. Also created a production planning model that is used for ongoing production planning and the determination of when additional production capital must be installed and debugged to avoid falling short of demand.Worked with senior team to create a fully integrated 5-year financial plan, annual budgets for 2013 and 2014, and established quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting processes. Lead monthly financial reviews with the senior team.

A Durable Medical Equipment company with an 18 year history of selling or renting the highest quality medical equipment, medical supplies and complex rehab equipment to individuals, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and long-term care facilities. With both retail and delivery services, an inventory of more than 15,000 products and more than 25,000 customers we reached well across Eastern Massachusetts and into Southern New Hampshire.Grew sales by 50%, improved operating profit from breakeven to 24% within first year by reorganizing key revenue segments, and established accountability within each sales organization and reducing expenses.Restructured logistics infrastructure and processes resulting in dramatic improvement in customer satisfaction and 20% reduction in delivery costs.Reduced debt by nearly $400K (33% reduction) using only internally generated cash.

Spun-out new technology from inside Polaroid Corp to create ZINK Imaging.Raised nearly $150M in capital and created all accounting, human resources and information technology / IT infrastructure for ZINK to be a viable company.Head for all financial activities, strategic planning, raw materials supply chain management, human resource management, information technology systems and facilities. Drove complete restructuring of business plan and investment strategy that enabled close of $35M Series B Financing. Over $113M of equity and over $35M of debt raised to date. Complete responsibility for extracting financial systems of $70M division out of Polaroid into standalone public entity. Established initial set of internal controls and created financial processes and procedures around all key activities including revenue recognition, asset capitalization, labor cost measurement and capitalization, accounts payable, expense reimbursement, and physical inventory measurement. Created carved out financial statements that served as the initial audited statements required by the SEC. Supported 10K filing and met all other SEC reporting criteria.
