Mad*Pow was acquired by Tech Mahindra and eventually merged with 4 other acquired agencies into BORN, the largest of those agencies. While at BORN/Tech M, I have stayed on to support a large Design System project for a client. This Design System was custom-built by myself, and a coworker at Mad*Pow. This Design System now supports numerous web applications for our client, and has been well-received by additional teams using it as a resource.Our role involves UX, visual design, and front-end development for these applications in addition to maintaining the Design System "Storefront". Ensuring all components are tested and documented for quality and accessibility before releasing to the design system for various teams to implement in their applications.

As a Senior Creative Tech, I'm heavily focused on planning, consulting, and implementing Design Systems while following Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).I really enjoy helping to provide that next level of design definition from UX and Visual Design teams to development teams through prototyping, building component libraries and creating full Design Systems. This allows backend developers to take my code, and the tools created and run with it. At Mad*Pow I was hired into a role as a Creative Technologist. I loved that Mad*Pow had a role that so clearly aligned with my skillset, a front-end developer with a design background.

At Vital Design I was originally hired as a Graphic Designer. Vital needed to grow their development team and I was offered the opportunity to learn to code. I was excited to learn more about what I was designing for and took on the role. Over my time at Vital, I transitioned into a role as a full-time Frontend Developer.Design tasks included • Designing numerous print ad campaigns including, banners, signage, posters, magazine ads, tri-fold brochures, and business cards • Creating interactive pdf documents including a 200+ page manual with an internally linked table of contents, and externally linked images and URLs

Web Design projects. Designed components for the homepage of the Unitil website. This project also involved consultation on the reorganization of the page to improve their customer's user experience.

Creating design assets for various social media account platforms to improve brand recognition for a number of clients.

Go Fish! Design was a great experience to start my career in the design industry. While at Go Fish! Design, I worked with the creative director and project managers to complete multiple designs for presentation to clients. Originated designs for print ads, billboards, signage, posters, stationery systems, HTML email campaigns, animated banner ads and web site layouts for client presentations. Participated in team meetings, client presentations, and attended press checks. Completed final production on multiple files which included building at high resolution for large scale printing of bus wraps, prepping files and delivering to printers and developers.Selected clients: Optima Bank & Trust, GreenXchange/IDG World Expo, EforAll Expo, Marple & James Real Estate, Granite Financial Partners, Davis Marcus Partners.
