The Speech & Hearing Center was established in 1953 to serve children and adults with communication disorders. For 60 years, the organization has striven to ensure that all individuals with speech or hearing impairments have access to the services and equipment they need, regardless of their ability to fully afford services. Conceptualize, develop, and deliver high quality business solutions by identifying, interpreting, and evaluating client’s requirements. Administer clients’ priorities and articulate numerous agendas within fast-paced working environment. Evaluate future plans for business to modify infrastructure in alignment with organizational requirements. Conduct network/security assessments, process mapping, documentation, asset tracking, compliance evaluations, and strategic discussions. Collaborate with clients to streamline day-to-day operations, validate/evaluate backups, and monitor system/software updates. Key Projects: • Consulting and technical support for Lowes & CVS Pharmacies• Established Managed Services offering, involving system integrations, documentation, policies/procedures development, and continuous training/support including expertise in ConnectWise Manage, Automate, Control and Sell, for Ohio MSP client. • Directed project in developing and migrating Office 365 for multiple companies, trained employees on effective utilization and administration of Microsoft SharePoint. • Finalized overall Cyber Security offering (including PCI-DSS, SSAE-16, HIPAA, SOC-1/2 and, NIST Framework) for uncovering and eliminating security risks from internal/external sources, testing, training, and policies/procedures for several clients. • Provided e-commerce consultation and site development services, including analytical reporting for Michigan client. • Architected Server migration project from 2012R2 to 2019 for Tennessee law firm. • Deployed national, ransomware resistant, disaster recovery and managed backup system for SMBs leveraging XI Systems TrueNAS snapshots and rSync

Directed all aspects of IT operations, such as budget management, business requirements analysis, security maximization, policy creation/implementation aimed at achieving designated corporate objectives. Supervised and guided IT personnel to achieve organizational goals and investment value of IT expenditure within time and budget constraints. Built and maintained productive relationships with vendors, while formulating metrics and KPIs for assisting IT team. Supported company employees and clients on ConnectWise, LabTech, SharePoint, Screen Connect, eAutomate, and MS Office.Key Achievements: • Maintained all aspects of Cyber Security, Audits, Assessments, active monitoring of ingresses and egresses leveraging Tenable Nessus, compliance monitoring, training and remediation. • Played pivotal role as IT leadership to build and train IT team of 20+ direct/indirect engineers on internal systems, such as Windows/Linux systems, SAN storage arrays, Cisco/IBM switches, VMWare, TSM, Veeam backup/replication, Office 365 administration, SharePoint management, and SQL. • Completed InfoSystems infrastructure and policies by gaining Security Trustmark certification, including PCI-DSS, SSAE-16, HIPAA, SOC-1/2 and, NIST Framework. • Devised and implemented strategies and roadmaps on business continuity and disaster recovery, while supporting change control and maintaining systems - saving over 50% of comparable hosting costs. • Team leadership for project that architected, tested, deployed, and documented fully redundant private cloud infrastructure across multiple datacenters, including failover storage and virtualization/backup.
