After twenty-plus years managing a Ferrari dealership, I felt due for a change following the 2008 recession. We enjoyed retirement for several years and helped get our grandkids established in school, plus deepening my involvement in vintage motorcycle racing...but retirement doesn't pay very well! I recently looked for a new company to utilize my core competencies of automobiles, business management, effective communication and particularly buying, selling and restoring vintage autos, especially Ferraris. Farland Classic Restoration was the perfect place for me, to develop their fledgling sales division. In my former position, I frequently travelled internationally to represent our company at manufacturers' headquarters, gaining a sensitivity to foreign cultures and ways of doing things. Decision making, being responsible for valuable assets and business integrity are familiar to me and helpful when dealing with high net-worth clientele.
