What separates me from others is my ability to foster collaborative business relationships. For a former employer, I teamed with multiple stakeholders to improve our regulatory reporting. * Currently engaged in compliance activities in the credit card industry. Spheres of influence include investor relations, exception reporting, system user testing and business controls/process evaluation. * Responsible for corporate mortgage compliance, including file QC analysis, State and Federal examinations, advertising review, HMDA reporting, compliance training and updating of all State and Federal lending regulations. Currently working with teams at IBM to ensure data security.* Supervised compliance activities for the Atlanta Branch. Assisted with starting a bona fide QC procedure using the SecondLook program. * Teamed with I.T. Department to design and improve existing LOS systems, disclosures & reports. Also worked on various other compliance projects (risk-based pricing disclosures, nontraditional & subprime state guidelines, etc.).* Partnered with regulators (OTS, OCC & FDIC) to obtain CRA credit for non-reportable mortgage transactions. Worked on various Fair Lending projects to ensure that lender complied with these regulations. Also tested loan applications for Reg. B (ECOA), Reg. C (HMDA), X (RESPA) and Z (Truth-in-Lending; including APR and Finance Charge testing). Analyzed accounts for compliance to Reg. D (certificates of deposit data) and for 12 CFR 2 and 12 CFR 14 compliance (Sale of Credit Life Insurance).* Obtained multi-state lending authorities. Analyzed loan documents and advertising methods to ensure compliance.
