About William Reid

I have over thirty years of history as a professional, currently as a Partner and a Public Sector Niche Lead with MNP. And over this time, I have specialized in results-based governance along with management as well as with facilitation and stake(rights)holder engagement, which spans:• Facilitating the creation and renewal of plans, be they strategic, transformational, or operational. • Aiding teams, by addressing such facets as shared values, the understanding of responsibilities, codes of conduct, meeting and decision-making processes, and approaches to resolving conflicts.• Evaluating programs, services and practices, looking at experiences and what is known about strategy and governance, policy, organizational structure and capacity, administration and delivery, demonstrated results, and other such considerations.• Assisting with the establishment and refinement of performance measures (indicators) for decision making (governance) and accountability purposes. As well, I have presented at regional and national conferences, as early as 2003 and as recent as 2024, with topics that range from innovations in program evaluation to the learnings from results-based budgeting in government, advancing the use of performance measures (indicators), assessing the state of “smart communities”, and why strategy can fail in practice.Added to this, I am a Credentialed Program Evaluator (CE), a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and have also been certified in change management. And, I have a Masters of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Victoria.
