Worked as a Senior Internal Auditor for the BC Ministry of Forests, specializing in “value for money” or performance audits of ministry programs and operations. As a part of this role though, experience was also gained in the conduct of investigations and more traditional audits on compliance with government policy and laws as well as in the reported use of funds.

Worked as a Senior Program Evaluator and Program Consultant for the BC Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks, These positions provided for an applied understanding of how statutory, policy and procedural instruments are developed, administered and evaluated in government. In addition, they provided opportunities to develop consultative relationships with stakeholders in the advancement of Provincial priorities.

As a consultant, worked with leaders in public sector and industry strategy and program evaluation, with experiences that included evaluations of cross-ministry and ministry specific initiatives, advising on organizational change and environmental management strategies, and supporting consultation processes.
