Provided consistent support, calm, and a regular flow of ideas, improvements and new products during the overhaul process and the introduction of the new custom-built aviation agency software. With the new software and now more experienced personnel, the now stable agency was well positioned to efficiently build on its core competencies, and adapt to changing business models; including the establishment of remote home-based employees, the relocation of duplicative functions (IT, Human Resources, and Accounting) to the Frederick, Maryland AOPA headquarters, and most importantly the December 2018 acquisition agreement by AssuredPartners Aerospace.

Joined the US Air Force in 1971, and remained there until the end of the Vietnam War. Initially maintained the world's largest aircraft. Lockheed C-5 Galaxy in California, and later provided ground crew support and maintenance for C-141 and C-130 aircraft in the Far East. Awarded distinguished student and job performance honors and honorably discharged in 1975. Returned to the United States and reentered college.
