Assembling, leading and supporting multi-disciplinary teams to solve local and global problems through conservation in forests, freshwater, and agriculture. A generous colleague described me as a “deep strategic thinker, wrapped in caring and humor”. Teams that I have led and served have developed and delivered impactful ideas in the arenas of climate change (REDD+ and resilience), agriculture and water quality (nutrient management and natural infrastructure), and sustainable development (C payments, sustainable forestry, and certification) in the US and internationally. I have grounded leadership experience as a forest scientist, fundraiser, and collaborator, working with governments, communities, partners and businesses to address pressing problems for people and nature.
