As Impact Housing’s Plant Manager, Bill Talbott oversees the entire production process at the company’s manufacturing facility. By producing standardized units in an off-site, controlled environment and installing on-site, Impact Housing is able to significantly reduce costs and shorten construction timelines. These unsubsidized, workforce homes are naturally affordable to Southern California’s low-and moderate-income households. Bill brings nearly 40 years of experience in manufacturing management and production of modular homes. As a seasoned leader, he will bring Impact Housing the ability to increase efficiency, recruit and train staff at all operation levels, and is poised to deliver Impact Housing projects valued in excess of $200M. Bill has held production management positions with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. He has led teams as large as 300 members to fulfill multi-million-dollar contracts. Bill brings particular experience in resource planning, establishing processes, building relationships, and recruiting for modular manufacturing start-ups.
