The committee gives advice to the Vancouver City Council and City Parking Manager on issues related to parking in the city. Conducted parking studies, public forums and other monthly public meetings and coordinated with the Parking Manager on various parking projects throughout the city of Vancouver.

Was the lone Purchasing Agent for approximately one year, purchasing millions of dollars of parts, services and supplies to keep the plywood mill running.

Served 3 years in Germany, the rest of the time in Wichita Falls, Texas. (Sheppard AFB). Initially trained as a Telecommunications Maintenance Technician and cross-trained into a Cryptographic Maintenance Technician and Digital Processing Maintenance Technician on my own time to be able to work on all equipment maintained by the Maintenance Department in a remote site in Germany. This allowed me to cover all three maintenance positions instead of having three workers on duty at the same time.
