Once I have achieved that, I am responsible to transition the property back to an Owner Elected Board of Directors. This appointment happens very infrequently, and only when a Condominium and all of its advisors cannot find a better alternative. It is an extreme measure, but it works, because ultimately the Court oversees the operation through me as their agent. There are no politics because owners cannot remove me without the Court approval, and we can really get down to business and get the condo back on track. Whether it stays that way after the transition back to the Owner elected Board will depend on the Owners. If they elect the right people, and keep them accountable, it should have the same chance at success as any other condominium. I believe that the secret to being a good Administrator is no different than being a good Board member. Be honest, be transparent, be accountable, and listen carefully to the Owners needs. Having this level of authority also brings an equal level of responsibility to the community and it's Owners, which is a thought that I can not forget. Show less -
