I’m Bill Wren, writer, editor, and content manager. I’ve written everything from radio and video commercial copy to greeting cards, legal contracts to occupational health testing web sites. I have written fiction and I have written consumer focused technical support content. I have even written about colon irrigation, a subject I never would have thought I’d be writing about.My career has taken me from commercial radio in Ontario and Alberta to the telecommunications and Internet world, the latter where I worked for TELUS for many years handling consumer communications and the web world as an editor at their portal site. I have also managed and voiced content at Accessible Media Inc. (AMI), where I was a coordinator. My freelance work has found me doing a wide variety of content management including creating Wordpress sites for small businesses, creating and managing online content, SEO writing, and consulting on social media.As for interests, I am a writer so just about everything interests me. One of the motivating factors in the work I do (writing, editing, managing content) is that I find myself in areas where I am continually learning new things. It is the kind of work that isn’t work because it engages. It is fun more often than it is not.
