Company Master Driver: In charge of teaching a class of up to forty soldiers on the fundamentals of safe driving, and the proper maintenance of the vehicles of which they will drive. After the soldiers pass an exam, the Master Driver submits the proper documentation for the soldiers to receive a military driver’s license. When not teaching, the Master Driver oversees the company level maintenance being performed, which includes documenting any faults found on the vehicle. October 12, 2010- December 1, 2012 Squad Leader: In charge of a group of up to ten individuals. It is the Squad Leader’s responsibility to insure that these individuals are well informed of tasks needed to be completed as well as enforce military standards. While deployed, the squad leader keeps accountability of their soldiers and assigned equipment. January 5, 2009- December 1, 2012 Personal Security Detail: Insured the safety of high ranking officials while escorting them through a hostile environment. A member of the personal security detail must be proficient with the operation of a .50 Caliber heavy machine gun, as well as work on the dismounted team. A driver has to be proficient with all radio equipment and perform convoy maneuvers during various situations. A Team Leader moves through hostile environments instructing their squad in tactical movements during both mounted and dismounted procedures. January 2006- July 2007 and November 2007- December 2009 Ammo Team Chief: Kept accountability of powders and munitions for a 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer known as a Paladin, while in charge of teaching and instructing new soldiers on the fundamentals of being an artillery man. The Ammo Team Chief is also overall responsible for insuring the proper maintenance being conducted for the section’s vehicles. In a section the Ammo Team Chief is next in command after either the Gun Chief or sometime the Gunner. March 2004- June 2008
