Worked as a Senior Special Agent in Southwest, VA from 2001 until 2016 conducting firearms, narcotics, gang and violent crimes related investigations. Experienced in organizing, budgeting and leading joint Federal/state/local and OCDETF task force investigations into criminal organizations utilizing both state and Federal court systems. Trained and mentored numerous new Special Agents and Task Force Officers. 2016-2018 was the Resident Agent in Charge (RAC) for the Roanoke, VA Field Office where I was responsible for the entire office consisting of Special Agents, Task Force Officers, Industry Operations Investigators, and co-located HSI Special Agents. 2018-2019 was a Senior Special Agent/Program Manager in Martinsburg, WV where I assisted in the supervision of the systematic destruction of all ATF and Department of Justice seized/purchased firearms and ammunition as well as ATF seized/purchased narcotics. 2019-2020 was a Senior Special Agent/Program Manager at the ATF National Canine Center in Front Royal, VA where I organize and supervise the implementation of special projects and assist with the re-accreditation process in this internationally recognized training facility.

Worked for a short period for the HHS-OIG as a Special Agent investigating Medicare/Medicaid fraud and prescription pill diversion.

Special Agent formally assigned to the Washington Field Division in Washington, DC. Began to work in the Check Squad and was then assigned to the Protective Intelligence Unit (PI) where I conducted intelligence advances and threat investigations for the President, Vice President and visiting foreign dignitaries. Worked closely with domestic and foreign intelligence agencies for threat identification and mitigation. Last USSS assignment was with the Counterfeit Squad where I conducted investigations into the production, importation, and passing of counterfeit U.S. currency.

Formally assigned as an uniformed patrol officer in the District III Station (Seat Pleasant) and then was promoted to a plain clothes narcotics detective assigned to Narcotics Enforcement Division (NED). There I conducted both short term and long term investigations into the distribution of illegal narcotics and the asssociated violence, both within and outside the borders of Prince Georges County, MD.
