I have been practicing law at Miller & Martin since I graduated from law school in 1995. When the firm opened its Atlanta office in 1998, I moved down from Chattanooga. After serving as head of the litigation department in Atlanta for a number of years, I became the firm's General Counsel in 2010.My practice is primarly business and intellectual property litigation. I've tried cases to verdict and handled arbitrations in matters such as franchise disputes, fraudulent transfers, and non-compete claims. I've also handled patent infringement matters in federal court and before the International Trade Commission, as well as trademark, deceptive advertising, and trade secret litigation in federal courts. I regularly advise on compliance with the ethics rules governing lawyers and present on that topic before various groups of attorneys.
