Job Role.- To provide quick and efficient repairs on various pieces of kit whilst working to a deadline.- Provide timely and efficient scheduled maintenance on vehicles to ensure all vehicles owned by the battalion was kept in the green.- To close the loop on any work carried out by my self and to ensure all documents was completed in a clear and swift manner.- I was also tasked with various monthly check tasks such as; ensuring all PPE was checked thoroughly for damages and serviceability.- As i grew in ability i was also tasked with taking 2 junior tradesmen and showing them various repair techniques and taking them through various common jobs on the vehicles the battalion owned. I also showed them some more in depth repairs and uncommon faults.Key Points.- To be able to fault diagnose Diesel and petrol engines.-Repair damaged and replace vital parts in various environments-Carried out routine and non routine maintenance as per Schedules.-Trained user on over head gantry cranes.-Ensured work spaces was always kept to a clean and high standard so that work could be conducted safely.
