The UW Resilience Lab (UWRL) is at the helm of promoting mental health and well-being at the UW through education, research partnerships, and a range of programs and initiatives.

-Created and executed an inter-organizational engagement strategy to streamline the provision of wrap-around services between AWAIC and CITC clients. This sough to decrease systemic barriers for Alaska Native people seeking services for intimate partner violence.-Managed federal grant compliance for the program's primary funder, Office of Violence Against Women.

-Direct services advocate working in a 52-bed emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.-Responsible for answering the 24-hour crisis line, performing intake evaluation and danger assessments, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution. -Provided individual support to clients experiencing a white range of co-occurring challenges including but not limited to homelessness and housing instability, substance abuse issues, mental/emotional health conditions, and precarious employment.

-Oversaw all organizational functions of Identity Inc. a 501.C.3 with an annual budget of $275,000. These responsibilities, in conjunction with the Board of Directors, included the creation of budgets, goals, and objectives, creating and managing fundraising campaigns, maintaining donor relationships, supervising a range of staff and volunteers, maintain day-to-day functions of the organizations. -Extensively represented Identity in all public engagements including media appearances, legislative testimony, and other public forums.-Collaborated local, state, and federal legislative representatives to keep Alaska’s LGBTQ population aware of legislative initiatives and organized intentional and effective responses from the community.

Responsible for maintaining day-to-day functions of the organization and all duties outlined in the Youth Program Manager position.

-Created and expanded curriculum for two LGBTQ youth groups in the Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley area and a support group for parents of trans youth, increasing the number of meetings offered annually by the agency from 24 in 2014 to 142 in 2016. This included mentoring a diverse group of youth, ages 13-24, through a variety of life experiences including applying to college, applying/maintaining first time employment, and navigating public assistance programs.-Lead 100+ LGBTQ cultural competency trainings a year for local nonprofits, private business, government services, and community members-Organized and facilitated biannual 3-day retreats for more than 50 LGBTQ youth across the state, focusing on youth from rural Alaskan communities, with the goal of inspiring young LGBTQ Alaskans to be change-makers in their communities

Managing all activities of the Democratic party on the campus of the University of Florida. Focusing on volunteer, recruitment, voter registration and voter mobilization.

Working to assist in volunteer recruitment for the campus of the University of Florida for Obama for America - Florida. Help coordinate efforts that lead to the registering of just under 10,000 students to vote at the University of Florida. The University of Florida had one of the highest targeted voter turnouts in the nation in the 2012 election cycle.

The lead creation of the 2012 Equality Florida Voter Guide. This included survey candidates from school board to the US Senate race.
