I embarked on my journey straight from school to begin my electrical career as an apprentice under DS Cole Electrical in 2014. This introduced me to the construction industy which was purely focused on new build developments, renovations and intergrating updated electrical accessories and cabling with existing infrastructures in place.I sucessfully completed my apprenticeship in 2019 and became a registered JIB electrical contractor. During this time I moved onto various other companies to further discover my potential. Companies such as: DRC Electrical provided further knowledge into working with smart home automation, Designer Group introducing myself into the commercial sector at Heathrow airport in which containment was critical to projects.As the pandemic drew many companies to a close, the near future was assesed going forward. I had obtained the qualifications to prove competence and knowledge in my field paired with valuable experience and saw how sustainability would shape our future. With this, I made preparations to begin my next chapter: Praetorius Electrical Services Ltd. This evolved in 2024 to Surrey Solar Solutions Ltd to reflect our commitment to sustainability.We are a principle driven group of JIB electrical contractors with over a decade of experience specialising in a variety of electrical work in both residential and commercial sectors.Governed through Napit, RECC and MCS we ensure all electrical and renewable work adhere to correct standards whilst blending seamlessly into existing electrical installations.Situated in Guildford, Surrey, we cover a vast area from: Berkshire, Greater London, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Sussex, Kent and Buckinghamshire.We further understand rapid changes in both sectors of the industry. Its our aim to provide up to date electrical practices to all sectors whilst working in a safe manner.
