Initially started a 20 year career with Harsco/Air-x-changers as a grinder. Worked in all departments, structure fitter/welder, tube rolling, assembly and ASME Code welder became head of Code vessel department and went on to also manage the structure and assembly departments and was subsequently promoted to assistant shop superintendent. Ultimately was made Quality Assurance Manager, a position held for 3 years during which updating their Quality Control Manual and weld procedures in Accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and API 661, and was involved in the certification process to obtain ISO 9000. Before joining the company in 2001, spent 5 years with HSI as Quality Control Manager updating Quality Control Manual for ASME Section VIII, Section 1 and weld procedures, Supervised the quality of code / non-code vessels. 2001 became Production Manager in the Hemphill plant facility and was integrally involved in developing their Quality Control Manual and obtaining ASME code certification and wrote weld procedures while actively participating in the air-cooler manufacturing operations.Assumed the position of Manufacturing Manager with AXH Air-Coolers in Claremore in 2005 involved in developing their Quality Control manual , weld procedures and shop set up.
