Included managing up to 15 staff between the front of house and catering staff to ensure the professional, smooth and welcoming delivery of weddings throughout the year at the venue. Ensuring adequate levels and organisation of stock was vital to avoid any shortcomings or interruptions to the team's ability to cater for the needs of the guests throughout the day.Ability to create common ground and communicate accordingly to a variety of individuals at the wedding. Staff, caterers, entertainers, security, guests and of course, the bride and groom. Each subset of people at the wedding required different ways of talking to and interacting with. And this is where my ability to communicate and identify common ground was further cemented.
