o Worked with an international school to train the national workers in general building maintenance responsibilities and daily project completion responsibilities o Trained the Driver Supervisor to be able to perform general bus maintenance that included changing oil, oil filter, brake pads and other auxiliary items that increased the life-span of the bus fleet; produced significant cost savings for the non-profit of approximately $18,000 USD / PGK 63,000 annually due to incurred elevated repair shop costo Partnered with a new Small / Medium Enterprises cooperative initiative by providing agricultural consultation for their local food shops on ways to reduce cost and how to raise their own chickens for resaleo Created a “Village Chicken” small business initiative -- Designed and built a scalable chicken pen configuration that was both affordable for the nationals and allowed for rotational movement to ensure the health of the local, “village” chickens -- Configuration reduced cost significantly due to chickens being able to graze throughout the day on fresh grass; also provided increased security for the chickens as theft is a widespread problem for the nationals within their villages -- Successfully trained 3 families on how to raise and sustain their village chickens to provide additional food for their families along with additional income by selling the eggs and chickens for meat
