The Georgia State Defense Force is a component of the Georgia Department of Defense, serving in support of the national and state constitutions under direction of the Governor and Adjutant General of Georgia.• Supervise and motivate chaplains serving the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Battalion, and OPFOR Battalion.• Care for the spiritual and well-being of more than 165 soldiers and their families.• Advise the chain of command to ensure understanding of the health and morale of the troops.• Partner with the Command Chaplain to develop strategies to serve our soldiers.• Serve as a Family Liaison during search and rescue/recovery missions.
